During an idyllic Kent summer, a struggling fruit farmer subdues his woes with drugs and alcohol. In his reverie he bonds with an errant teenage fruit picker who is drawn into his troubled life, with potentially lethal consequences as the night draws in and rampant foxes spell danger in the midnight orchards.
