TOM HAINES is a filmmaker whose storytelling explores human relationships through the lens of thrilling, and complex narratives. His work has been shown in festivals worldwide including BFI LFF, Rotterdam, Clermont, LA Shorts, Berlin.

His character-based music videos have received much acclaim and won multiple UK MVAs and Vimeo awards for artists like New Order, Unkle (w/ Nick Cave), Jon Hopkins and Baxter Dury.

In the commercial world, he's worked for clients such as Google, Expedia, Land Rover, KFC, Verizon, IBM, Dove - with bold cinematic pieces, often with an elevated documentary feel to them, that have brought collaborations with outstanding DOPs such as Lol Crawley and Jody Lee Lipes.

Tom has continued to hone his craft with short form and long form projects and developed work through Torino Film Lab and iFeatures (both with producer Anna Griffin, Calibre/Midnight Sister).

He was born in London, and lives in Northern Spain, where he has recently made a documentary for Spanish TV (Movistar) following the Spanish Olympic ski team with Goya winning producers Little Spain.

Tom also works as a writer, with projects such as an original screenplay for the producer of Giant & Starve Acre.
